The survey uncovered the top reasons they were not considering workforce automation, ranging from lack of support from local government, to outdated system configuration difficulties and a misperception of high cost. But the survey also revealed that in the utility business climate where margins are tight and budget cuts are a fact of life, the absence of workforce automation technology comes at an enormous cost.
