Do you want to ensure that your library’s collections are diverse, equitable, inclusive—and well-read?

Enhance your library collections with one-on-one coaching in Evaluating, Auditing, and Evaluating Your Collections, starting next week! In the workshop, you’ll learn how to conduct a diversity audit of your current collections and create book lists to enhance your future ones with targeted support from a small group advisor. You’ll also receive a certificate of completion for your efforts.

Live Interactive Sessions: Tuesdays: April 28, May 5 & 12 from 2-4 PM ET. Plus, self-guided options and additional bonus content offered so you can follow along at your own pace.

Also Available On-Demand! Can’t make a live session? All sessions will be available to you “on-demand” following the initial broadcast.

After each week’s live sessions, you’ll dive into an assignment designed to take your collection development practice to the next level. Once submitted, your coach will provide you with personal feedback and advice for next steps. The best part: build community with your small group by reading and engaging with their ideas, too.

Hear what one of our expert coaches, Megan Emery of The Healing Library, has to say:

“One of my favorite things about coaching the courses is watching my students go from nervously approaching their audits to elation when they discover their theories are backed up by hard data now. Helping them realize their potential for growth in their collections and beyond is incredibly rewarding. Not only are they taking steps toward building a more equitable organization that reflects their communities, they’re becoming knowledgeable leaders for change.

When it comes to our students, they can expect me to offer additional resources, encouragement, and redirection if it seems needed. I want them to feel comfortable asking questions of the fabulous speakers we have, not just me, so I rally them to take advantage and engage with those speakers week after week.”

There’s still time to join the workshop, so sign up to start learning today!
