NATIONAL: From June 24-25, event management tool Eventcombo will host Eventicon 2021—The Comeback, an online gathering where professionals in event management, event production and digital tech will discuss the future of the industry. Speakers will include Informa’s Jason Peskin, Abbott Laboratories’ Manisha Sajnani and BizBash’s own Ashton Pike. Admission is free. 

AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO: Camp Lucy, which now produces four varieties of wine, has also added an 88-foot Savannah Sperry Tent, bistro-lit aisle and private hospitality suites just in time for the summer. The venue's first public event of the season will be June 24.

LAS VEGAS: Jol Robuchon restaurant, named after its late chef, will return to MGM Grand along with its 15-course menu and French-inspired dining. The three-Michelin-starred restaurant will open to the public July 1, while L'Atelier de Jol Robuchon, the restaurant's experimental workshop, will open July 15.

LOS ANGELES: Damien Hirsch has been named general manager of W Los Angeles—West Beverly Hills. Hirsch brings 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the role and currently serves as chairman of Santa Monica Travel & Tourism’s board of directors.

SAN DIEGO: The Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, in tandem with Informa Connect and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), will return both in-person and virtually this fall. Due to new online accessibility, the event promises to be more global and inclusive than past conferences and will feature more sessions on high-demand sustainability topics. The in-person portion of the event will take place in San Diego from Sept. 21-23.
