Ward off a cold and the flu. Getting sick can cause diabetes complications, so be sure to avoid people who are sick and to wash your hands regularly.



Pay attention to your feet. This winter, check your feet every day, moisturize them right after you bathe, and keep them protected with warm, dry shoes or boots.
