DRM-Free Made Easy: Expanding Access for Researchers and Choice for Libraries
Thursday, March 29, 2018
2-3 PM ET, 11 AM-12 PM PT

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is technology used to control the use of digital content and devices after purchase. Although the intention is to prevent unauthorized redistribution, this technology creates certain restrictions and device boundaries that can impact a student’s research. While many libraries are interested in acquiring DRM-free content for their patrons, current options for acquiring this content are limited.

To meet this need, EBSCO Information Services has developed a DRM-free solution that will provide DRM-free access to more than 70,000 EBSCO eBooks™ titles. In this webinar, attendees will hear EBSCO’s product development team discuss the following:

  • New end-user research informing DRM-free development
  • The DRM-free EBSCO eBooks user experience
  • DRM-free insights and statistics from an academic library
  • DRM-free e-book collections, purchase options, and upgrades available to libraries
  • How new and current customers can access DRM-free EBSCO eBooks
