It's a dry and mild start to the day with temperatures starting off in the 50s. Overcast skies this morning will brighten late morning and this afternoon with unusually warm highs in the 60s. It will be dry and mild this evening with the sun setting at 4:48 p.m. TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy Lows: 33-42 Winds: Light Dry and colder weather settles in overnight with low temperatures remaining above freezing. WEDNESDAY: Becoming Mostly Cloudy Tracking Rain Highs: Mid 50s Winds: Light and Variable Another weather maker will bring more rain to the area. The morning commute is trending dry with some sun early before skies become overcast. Showers will develop late morning over the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge with wet weather overspreading the D.C. Metro during the afternoon hours. Plan for a wet evening commute with rain tapering off overnight.

It will be a bit breezy, at times, making for lower wind chills.
