Winds remain strong out of the northwest gusting up to 40 mph. Temperatures will stay below-average in the upper 30s with lower wind chills. TONIGHT: Scattered Clouds Lows: 21-27 Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph Lighter winds are expected overnight with temperatures fall well below freezing. TUESDAY: Partly Cloudy Highs: 30-39 Winds: Northwest 10-15 mph A quiet and cold day in store ahead of our next weather maker that could bring some wintry weather to the area. WEDNESDAY: WINTER ALERT Mostly Cloudy Chance for PM Snow Highs: 26-32 Winds: North 5-10 mph Tracking a midweek winter storm that continues to bring the potential for snow the DMV. The latest trends continue to show the storm tracking farther south of our area, which would mean lower snow totals. Current forecast snow totals range from 1-4". The cold air will definitely be in place, so any precipitation that falls will be snow.
