TODAY: WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY (DC METRO, SOUTHERN MARYLAND) ICE STORM WARNING (MOUNTAINS, FAR WEST) Morning Wintry Mix to Rain, Afternoon Clearing Highs: 46-53 Winds: Southwest 5-15 Wintry mix and freezing rain will change to all rain around sunrise. While some school delays are possible for the metro, the most likely will be across far western Maryland and the I-81 corridor. Wet weather will draw to a close midday as skies grow brighter and temperatures rise.
TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy Lows: 38-43 Winds: SW to NW 5-10 mph Dry weather is expected overnight. Temperatures will stay above freezing, so we won't have to worry about any refreeze of lingering puddles.
FRIDAY: Mostly Sunny, Breezy Highs: Around 50 Winds: Northwest 5-15, Gusts 25 mph We'll round out the week dry with sunshine, breezy northwest winds, and highs around 50 degrees. SATURDAY: Wintry Mix Possible Highs: 35-40 Winds: Southeast 5-10 mph A wintry mix is possible Saturday with chilly highs in the 30s to around 40 degrees. SUNDAY: Partly Sunny, Breezy Highs: 50s Winds: Northwest 5-15, Gusts 20 mph Sunday features a nice mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 50s.
