Forecasts trends indicate a solid one-half to one-inch for most neighborhoods, enough to wash away any leftover salt on sidewalks and roadways. Temperatures will remain above average with increasing southerly winds. TONIGHT: Rain Ending, Cloudy Lows: 41-48 Winds: Southwest 5-10 mph The wet weather will taper off from west to east with rain ending inside the Beltway before midnight. Skies will remain cloudy overnight with damp and mild conditions.
SATURDAY: Mostly Sunny Highs: Mid 40s Winds: North 10-15, Gusts 25 mph The weekend begins with plenty of sunshine and near normal high temperatures in the 40s.
SUNDAY: Partly Sunny Highs: 40-45 Winds: Southeast 5-10 mph Sub-freezing temperatures in the 20s will start the day with highs back into the 40s. Temperatures may be a few degrees lower Sunday due to added clouds.
