We're on a HEAT ALERT today with a Heat Advisory in effect from noon until 8 p.m. for heat index values nearing 105 degrees.
TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy Patchy Fog Possible Lows: 75-80 Winds: South 5 mph Plan for a very warm and humid night. Air temperatures may not fall below 80 degrees in the city. Areas of patchy fog may develop towards dawn.
TUESDAY: HEAT ALERT Partly Sunny, Isolated PM Storms Highs: 95-99 Heat Index: 103-108 Winds: South 5-10 mph Our stretch of high heat continues with highs back into the upper 90s and feels like temperatures around 105 degrees. Additional heat alerts may be issued by the National Weather Service. WEDNESDAY: HEAT ALERT Partly Sunny, Scattered Storms Highs: 92-96 Heat Index: 100-105 Winds: South 10-15, Gusts 25 mph Beryl’s moisture will just start reaching us. The tropical humidity coupled with the next weather-maker will help deliver thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rain. Additionally, added humidity along with highs in the 90s will make for another sizzler. Feels like readings will range between 100 to 105 degrees. THURSDAY: Partly Sunny Scattered Showers, Storms Highs: 92-95 Heat Index: Around 100 Winds: Southwest 5-10 mph Our hot and humid weather pattern continues with higher chances for rain and storms.
