WEDNESDAY: Hot Highs: 89-94 Heat Index: 91-95 Winds: East 5-10 mph Temperatures may drop a few degrees into the low 90s. THURSDAY: Hotter Highs: 91-96 Heat Index: 93-98 Another hot day with mostly sunny skies. LOOKING AHEAD: The peak of this heat wave will arrive later in the week, through the upcoming weekend. Temperatures will reach the upper 90s to around 100 degrees, with heat index values in the 100 to 105 degree range.
