THURSDAY, JUNE 5, 2025 TODAY: Mix of Clouds and Sun Highs: 83-88 Winds: Southwest 5-10 mph Added clouds are in the forecast with highs back into the 80s. The DMV will be between two systems - a cold front approaching from the west and an area of low pressure off the Carolina coast. This will bring us some extra clouds, but most of the DMV will remain dry. There's a chance for rain and storms in the mountains and possibly a stray sprinkle in our far southern zones. TONIGHT: Partly to Mostly Cloudy Lows: 65-69 Winds: Light Dry weather is expected overnight with mild and muggy conditions. Areas of patchy fog are possible, especially south of D.C.
FRIDAY: Partly Sunny Highs: 84-88 Winds: Southeast 5-10 mph The summery feel will continue to round out the first week of June. Friday is trending dry in the D.C. Metro area, but scattered showers and storms are possible in the mountains during the late afternoon and evening hours.
