Expect more clouds and the chance for a few passing showers, especially through the midday and early evening. With the warmer weather this afternoon, expect the cherry blossoms to reach peak bloom either today or tomorrow. FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly Cloudy Stray Showers Possible Lows: 55-60 Winds: Southwest 5-10 mph A noticeably milder night ahead with low temperatures in the 50s. SATURDAY: Partly to Mostly Cloudy Highs: 80-85 Winds: Southwest 10-15 mph Saturday will likely be the warmest day of the year, so far, with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s. The record high is 92 set back in 1907. Morning clouds will give way to added afternoon sun. It will also be breezy, which will be perfect for the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival happening on the grounds of the National Mall.
