TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2024 TODAY, ELECTION DAY: Morning Clouds to Sun Highs: 75-80 Winds: South 5-15 mph This Election Day Tuesday will start off cloudy and cool with temperatures in the 50s. A few areas of patchy fog are possible early. Skies will brighten late morning with sunny and warm weather for the afternoon. High temperatures will climb into the mid 70s (15 degrees above average) with a breezy southerly wind. Humidity levels will also rise for the second half of the day making it feel a little 'sticky' for early November. Temperatures will slowly fall out of the 70s into the 60s this evening.
TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy Lows: 59-64 Winds: South 5-10 mph It will be dry and very warm tonight with lows in the 60s for most. Keep in mind our average daytime high for this time of year is 62, so some neighborhoods will stay above that for our overnight low! WEDNESDAY: Partly to Mostly Cloudy Highs: 79-84 Winds: Southwest 5-15, Gusts 20 mph A weirdly warm, breezy, and humid day is expected with highs in the low 80s! Record high temperatures are likely with the record sitting at 80 at all 3 area airports from 2015. THURSDAY: Mostly Cloudy Showers Possible Highs: 68-75 Winds: North 5-10 mph A cold front approaching from the north and west will bring us a chance for rain. We are currently experiencing our longest stretch of dry weather on record, so any precipitation is welcome. Rainfall totals will be on the low end (with some neighborhoods remaining dry) at .10" or less. Humidity levels will start to fall during the afternoon with cooler air returning Friday.
