We'll round out the week with more clouds than sun and warmer than average highs in the mid to upper 70s. It will feel rather muggy later today for early October with dewpoints in the upper 60s.  An approaching cold front could trigger an isolated shower or storm late this afternoon through the early evening hours. This front will usher in a drier airmass for the weekend.

It will be a beautiful start to the weekend with morning temperatures in the upper 50s in the suburbs to low 60s downtown. Abundant sunshine is expected for your outdoor plans with slightly warmer than average highs in the upper 70s.

Winds: North 5-10 mph
It will be a chilly and crisp start to the day with morning temperatures in the upper 40s in our western suburbs and low to mid 50s downtown. Another super sunny is on tap with warm afternoon highs in the 70s.
