Team Clark Survey Results! As we near the end of the first full week in 2023, we wanted to know if you have any financial New Year's resolutions. Here are a few of the responses we received:
K in Georgia: "Make a realistic budget and stick to it! And follow Clark's savings plan.
Tammy in Washington: "Save $10,000. Pay off all revolving consumer credit. Create and manage to a budget using a budgeting app.
Shivam in Florida: "Max out Roth IRA contributions. Contribute 15% more to my 401(k). Cut down dining out. Buy my first home.
Tom in Florida: "Give away 10% of my income to a trust foundation. Of those funds, 8% go to charities that have been vetted by my children. My goal is to teach them to invest the 10% wisely and then to give away 8% per year to the best charities."
Susan in New Hampshire: "Save more! I'm going to shop at Amazon less, put at least $3,000 in an HSA and save like Clark. I'm also committed to make at least six extra car payments this year. I typically pay an extra $100 to $200 quarterly, so this will be a stretch for me."
