Time Out No. #72 | Tuesday 24 August 2021

Gardening seems to be having a bit of a boom (or should that be bloom?) at the moment. Perhaps it’s down to everyone deciding to sort out that yellowing patch of grass that constitutes their ‘garden’ during last year’s lockdowns. Maybe it’s something to do with that brief time in early spring when the garden centre was just about the only thing allowed to open. Either way, the nation seems to have discovered an appreciation for all things horticultural, and that extends to gardens that other people have planted too. Here are nine of the biggest and best in the UK.

The latest UK goings-on

It’s that time again. The greatest magazine in London (and perhaps the world) has returned to the streets of the capital. This week we asked a load of Londoners for their top bank-holiday day-trip tips, from Selling and Hockley to Tillingham and Virginia Water. Elsewhere we reveal the festival food stalls you can find in London year round and the autumn art shows we’re really, really excited about. Have a read right here.
