Hi there, May is Homeschool Awareness Month - and it’s never felt like a better time than now to really understand what it means to homeschool.
This semester, the world has been experiencing crisis remote learning - not homeschooling. Homeschooling is a decision that families make for reasons ranging from military family moves, allowing more focus for children with special gifts or unique learning styles, to dozens of other reasons - each very unique! Overall, the benefit is the ability to customize and tailor their children’s learning to best suit them, allowing them to have a more impactful, and personal, educational journey.
However, there are a lot of myths about homeschooling and we wanted to help address those!
