9 Psoriatic Arthritis Diet Questions, Answered

If you have psoriatic arthritis, you may be confused about what you should eat and what you should avoid. To the rescue: Geraldine M. Jaffe, RDN, CDN, a nutrition consultant and arthritis educator based in New York. Here, she answers some of the most common questions about nutrition and psoriatic arthritis, including:

Do I need to go gluten-free? Only if you have celiac disease, says Jaffe. Otherwise, a gluten-free diet can rob you of important sources of fiber, like barley and bulgur.
