Fruity and Fabulous

Fruit and cheese. Yes, please! Pair specialty cheeses, such as Carr Valley's havarti, with juicy fruits to create treats like these Havarti-Honeydew Stacks.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ “The buttery tones of the havarti complemented the sweetness of the melon extremely well…an adult dessert,” reviews Bernadette.

Set fire to any occasion with an award-winning hottie ready to party. Carr Valley Glacier Wildfire Blue™ is the brainchild of North America's most decorated cheesemaker, Master Cheesemaker Sid Cook. This standout has a soft, crumbly texture and a mild blend of blue, earthy notes and piquant peperoncini. Tame its peppery flame with kiwi fruit and strawberries drizzled with balsamic glaze. Or sprinkle it on fried tomatoes and charred corn, and it'll take grilled burgers and steaks over the top.

Meet the Maker: Ken Heiman

You know you’re a true Wisconsinite when you get your cheesemaker’s license before your driver’s license. “My mother had to give me a ride to classes,” says Master Cheesemaker Ken Heiman. Today, Ken owns family-run Nasonville Dairy, known for building their own cultures to craft delicious classics and unique gems like Blue Marble Jack™ and Carolina Reaper Cheddar. “Wisconsin is the only state with licensed cheesemakers,” Ken says. “It brings something here that nobody else has got…the elite.”
