There's no denying 93brand Gis often have some of the softest pants, period. The Tau, Gotham, 100KG, etc. all felt like they were too good to be true. They've passed the test of time as far as Jiu Jitsu. . . but do you ever just want to rock them around the house? Some of us do, but it'd be nice to gear them more toward a casual use, so that's what 93brand has done with the SHG pants. The casual SHG pants use the same super soft brushed twill cotton for the main material, with the 2nd ply knee reinforcements removed so they're not as heavy as traditional Gi pants. Two oversized pockets are located on the front, stitched with contrast thread (everywhere else on these pants is black thread for a more subtle look). And a Gi material rear pocket adds a nice touch as well. Branding is relatively low key, with one dark grey embroidery down the calf and one woven pocket patch. Integrated into the four drawstring loops you'll find a little "93" embroidery. The rest of the pants are kept true to usual Gi pants, after all, these sweats are meant to remind you of Jiu Jitsu even when you're lounging. Blue interior seam taping. Sizing is comparable to 93brand Gi pants. Slight taper. If you want a more fitted look, size down. Model is 183 lbs and just shy of 6'2", wearing size A1L (normally wears an A2 or A2L in 93brand Gis). 93brand Jiu Jitsu Gi Size Guide A0: 5'0"-5'4" 110-140 lbs A0H: 5'3"-5'7" 160-185 lbs A1F: 5'4"-5'7" 120-140 lbs A1: 5'4"-5'8" 140-165 lbs A1L: 5'6"-5'11" 135-165 lbs A2: 5'9"-6'0" 165-185 lbs A2L: 5'11"-6'2" 160-185 lbs A2H: 5'8"-6'0" 210-245 lbs A3: 5'11"-6'2" 190-225 lbs A3L: 6'2"-6'5" 195-230 lbs A4: 6'2"-6'4" 220-255 lbs A5: 6'3"-6'7" 250-280 lbs93brand Women's Jiu Jitsu Gi Size Guide F1: 4'10"-5'1" 70-100 lbs F2: 5'1"-5'3" 100-120 lbs F3: 5'2"-5'5" 115-135 lbs F4: 5'3"-5'6" 130-150 lbs F5: 5'6"-5'9" 150-175 lbs |
