The SS2 features two impressive new fabric weaves from 93brand. The lightweight and resilient 425 GSM Advanced Pearl is a slightly lighter version of 93brand's 450 Advanced Weave (from the Rollers and SuperNY Gis), while the new Twin Twill is a hybrid of Twill cotton and Ripstop! Really a solid and super comfy material.

With mounted patches and quality embroideries throughout, this release uses a very nice navy blue/seafoam color scheme. The multicolor split pattern on the side vents, pant loops, and patchwork give it its name (SS2 = Seafoam Split #2).

As always, 93 uses a plethora of stitched reinforcements, along with multiple drawstring loops and a round stretch drawstring. The SS1 is equipped with full-length knee reinforcements and contrast inner seam taping (sleeves and pants). Contrast thread is limited, using navy thread everywhere but the collar and the tri-color yoke seam.

Our favorite part of this Gi is the interior shoulder panel, sublimated with an angular navy blue/seafoam pattern and 93 branding. Outfitted with a thicker/wider collar, including additional rows of stitching and a strong EVA foam core.

Note: This is a new shade of navy, unlike any previous 93brand Gis. Previous colors had a hint of red/purple, while this is a deep and cool navy blue.
