Bangor residents should prepare to see their property tax bills change. The first citywide revaluation in 37 years will involve inspections of every house, apartment building, industrial space, commercial property and vacant lot.

Brewer adopted new rules for short-term rentals. Brewer’s new rules come a week after neighboring Bangor opened an online portal to get short-term rental operators on the books.

Ellsworth’s former police chief, who was fired on suspicion of working drunk, is opening a brewery. Glenn Moshier is a co-owner of a new brewery and restaurant enterprise that he and partners plan to open in Winter Harbor.
