Good morning. Social media continues to find novel uses in the practice of law. Recentlly, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York allowed a subpoena to be served on the founders of a Singapore-based cryptocurrency hedge fund via Twitter. It's not the first creative allowance for service of process, with other courts allowing service via email, voice message and more in recent years. While these instances have been rare, LTN's Cassandre Coyer investigates whether they might become more common in today's featured article.
