Chinese billionaire Xu Hang was one of the world's biggest financial winners of the past five years, as his medical device company Mindray Medical saw a huge increase in demand for ventilators following the Covid-19 pandemic. According to Forbes, Xu's net worth increased from less than $2 billion in 2018 to nearly $20 billion in 2021, and the tycoon has gone on to spend more than $250 million on four luxury mansions scattered around the globe within the last 18 months alone. Among his acquisitions are Mark Wahlberg's $55 million Beverly Hills estate, Heather Dubrow's $55 million Orange County chateau and a $107 million house in Hong Kong.
