Hearing From Those Who Lead

To us, leadership is about those who find the potential in both people and processes, and work to turn that potential into success. Leadership can come in many forms, but courageous leadership has the ability to make everyone — employees, schools, communities — feel empowered to do more.

How the Past Can Help Today's Leaders Grow Their Future

Businesses — and the way we conduct business — may have changed drastically over the course of history, but there's something to be said for the belief that history often repeats itself. Just take the 2019 Business Leaders Outlook. This report, released in early January, was designed by JPMorgan Chase to better understand the perspectives and challenges faced by today's business leaders. Results show that many executives are predominantly focused on three objectives: managing emerging technologies, finding and hiring talent and investing for growth.

FEEDBACK

Tell us about a city that has experienced rapid change.

"As Mark Twain said: 'It will be a helluva place as soon as they get done building it.' That was back in the 1880's and the city he was speaking about was my very own New York City. If you walk around you'll notice that they haven't stopped building it. So you could say that New York City experiences rapid growth all the time."
