The state of banking: Until last week, the implosion of New Orleans-based First NBC was the largest bank failure since the 2008 financial crisis. That honor now belongs to Silicon Valley Bank, whose collapse on Friday had many starting the week in fear of whether it could prove contagious. Stephanie Riegel asked local experts whether that fear is valid.
Who's watching the museums? The state office that oversees Louisiana's nine museums hasn't had a permanent director for seven years, has no coherent budget, low morale and can't even track how many people visits the sites. Those are among the findings of a scathing new legislative auditor's report, which said the office is riddled with problems. Will Sentell has the story.
