A data-driven insights training course to help to improve health and safety outcomes  Most organisations collect some form of health and safety data. Most commonly it is used retrospectively to report on past performance and, in essence, describe what types of accident happened, where they happened, when and who was affected. But some of the higher value questions that are important to proactively manage health and safety require a more meaningful use of data, for example, why did it happen, when might it happen again and what do we do next if it does? Data-driven Health and Safety Management: Understanding Why, What and How to Measure is a one-day course which introduces the concept of data-driven insights and explores how to use data effectively to improve an organisation's health and safety outcomes. It covers how to collect data around known precursors of accidents and how to feed them into a structured analytic process. What past delegates say "Brilliant course, really given me things to think about" "Excellent course - really helpful information. Well presented" "I'll be looking more how we can apply data to our management system more than we do now" "Discussions were very useful" |
