Dear John,
Every March, during the MIT 24-Hour Challenge, thousands of MIT alumni, students, parents, and friends like you come together to support our efforts to make a better future.
What is the MIT 24-Hour Challenge and when is it?
The MIT 24-Hour Challenge is our annual day of giving, a special day to rally around the many departments, labs, and programs at MIT whose faculty, students, researchers, and staff are making a difference in the world.
Every year, MIT Open Learning joins the larger MIT community with our own microchallenge. Guided by our mission to transform education on campus and beyond, we are working to bring learners around the world the latest in MIT’s teaching, learning, and educational research. During this year’s MIT 24-Hour Challenge, on March 13, we’ll be raising support for our free programs like MIT OpenCourseWare.
You and your support of OCW will help us to find new ways to share MIT courses with anyone in the world who wants to learn, for free. By donating what you can on Thursday, March 13, you’ll not only contribute to our challenge goal of 628 people giving to MIT Open Learning programs like OCW—you’ll be helping us share life- and world-changing knowledge with millions of learners like Khanh.
I hope you’ll join us in making an impact during this year’s MIT 24-Hour Challenge. Here’s an easy way to add this important day to your calendar.
