Intersolar Europe | June 19–21, 2024 | Munich
| | | | | | | | Dear Solar Experts, In 2023, 21 percent of Germany’s energy supply, and even up to 60 percent of the electricity supply, were covered by renewable energies. Let’s travel back in time: In the 1990ies, during the early stages of the energy transition, only 3.5 percent of electricity came from renewable sources, and German utility companies claimed that more than 4 percent of renewables were technically impossible. 34 years on, and the current 21 and 60 percent respectively, give cause for hope: Hope that we can soon reach 100 percent, in the knowledge that this is technically possible. And hope that renewable energies will make a decisive contribution to curbing the climate crisis. If you would like to find out how 100 percent renewables in the areas of electricity, heat and transportation can become a reality, join us at Intersolar Europe 2024! Secure your ticket now! Best regards, Horst Dufner Head of The smarter E Europe | | | | |
