Football history: The Saints won a big game Monday night. (Wait for applause to quiet down). But besides moving the Black & Gold to 2-0 on the season, the win in North Carolina highlights a “first-time-ever” accomplishment involving the Saints, LSU and Tulane. It might surprise you that this has never happened before. Columnist Jeff Duncan has more. (And of course, when the Saints win, there's dancing in the locker room.)
Faking a death: Last month, authorities in St. Charles Parish searched the Mississippi River for what they said was a missing kayaker, an Oklahoma man who had disappeared in the night. Turns out there was no kayaking accident or drowning, and that there was a lot more to the story, Michelle Hunter reports.
Cantrell travels to France: Mayor LaToya Cantrell, whose out-of-the-country travel has stirred controversy, is heading back to France. She'll sign a sister-city agreement, meet with folks and attend festivals, Ben Myers reports.
Saving City Hall: The Louisiana Landmarks Society is out today with its list of the most endangered sites in New Orleans. You can see them all here.
