This high octane film festival is heaven for action fans

Yippee-ki-yay! The London Action Festival is back. This cinematic celebration kicks off tomorrow and runs till Sunday, with special screenings, high profile panel discussions, Q&As with industry bigwigs, and so much more coming to multiple venues across central London.

From Die Hard diehards to James Bond buffs, all flavours of action film fanatics are well-catered for at The London Action Festival 2. Watch the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic Commando, then ask its legendary screenwriter — Steven E. de Souza — your burning questions. Join the villains of John Wick for a very special panel discussion. Learn how Game of Thrones' infamous Battle of the Bastards was brought to life, at a screening of the episode followed by a Q&A with its director and other special guests. You'll even have the chance to see the first two episodes of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Season 4 before they debut on Prime Video and speak to one of its stars, Wendell Pierce. Plus, there's a dastardly film quiz, an exhibition of movie memorabilia, and masterclasses for all you aspiring directors!

Some events may be booked individually but to really make the most of it, you'll want a festival pass. These get you access to an eye-popping range of events — choose between day passes for £26.99, or weekend passes for £49.99. Get yours while you can — last year's inaugural edition was packed-out, and with a line-up like this, The London Action Festival 2 should be that rare sequel that improves on the original.

Relaxed Cinema Screenings
Film should be for everyone, but trips to the cinema can be difficult for neurodivergent people and those with dementia. Relaxed screenings aim to be more accessible — these ones at Genesis are reduced capacity, with a sit-where-you-like policy and lower volume levels, among other adjustments.
