The Title II Net Neutrality rules are crucial for so many communities.

Friend,

Without Net Neutrality we'll no longer be able to use the internet to fight for justice and tell our stories.

We need to protect the FCC's Title II Net Neutrality rules. Help us get the message across to Congress.

If you haven't already, call 413-923-6120 to be automatically connected to your member of Congress. Tell them to speak out against the FCC chairman's plan to end Net Neutrality.

Thanks—

Lucia

Friend,

Imagine if you couldn’t organize against Trump’s attacks on people of color. If you were unable to get the word out about crises like Hurricane Maria and its aftermath in Puerto Rico. Or if you couldn’t share your own story online and had to rely on mainstream media to speak for you.

This is the future we could be facing without Net Neutrality.

Call 413-923-6120 to be automatically connected to your member of Congress. Tell them we need to keep the FCC’s Net Neutrality rules in place.

On Wednesday, the Voices for Internet Freedom Coalition held a briefing on Capitol Hill about the importance of Net Neutrality to communities of color. It was a critical opportunity to help members of Congress and their staff understand how vital the FCC’s Title II Net Neutrality rules are for vulnerable communities.

And the stories told on the Hill were powerful. One of the panelists, a journalist from Jemez Pueblo in New Mexico, talked about how the open internet gave him access to Native American history often left out of textbooks, and now provides him with a space to tell the story of his people.

Other participants talked about how Net Neutrality has helped people challenge the damaging stereotypes mainstream media perpetuates. Without the open internet, there will be no way to fight back.

Will you help us get the message across? Call 413-923-6120 and tell Congress to speak out against the FCC chairman's plan to end Net Neutrality.

Saving the agency’s Title II Net Neutrality rules is crucial for so many communities.

Thanks for all that you do—
