A historic locale burns in Eunice

Welcome the week after Memorial Day edition of the Acadiana Business Newsletter. Summer has finally arrived. Let's get to the headlines....

A fire the burned for hours on Saturday destroyed a popular Eunice restaurant that sat in a historic building. 

Multiple fire departments and a crop duster plane dropping water responded to Nick's on 2nd to put out the blaze. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Nearby businesses received some smoke damage.
