Walk of Fame: Plans are afoot for a Hollywood-style Walk of Fame along Canal Street featuring celebs ranging from Master P to Leah Chase to Archie Manning. Business writer Tony McAuley catches us up on where the plan stands and who might be among the notables being noted.
Record breaker: Caesars Superdome officials knew the Taylor Swift shows last weekend would be big draws. Jeff Duncan tells us just how big they were. Record breakers, he reports.
Defending a lighthouse: For more than two centuries, a lighthouse has stood at the mouth of the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, harking back to the tiny town’s days as a shipbuilding hub. Now, a coastal erosion project has kicked off that St. Tammany Parish officials hope will also save the lighthouse, Alex Lubben reports.
