As a look through SENS yesterday will confirm, 2022 has nearly drawn to a close. The final official Ghost Mail for the year will be in your inboxes tomorrow. I may pop in during that awkward period between Christmas and New Year's Eve, when nobody knows what their purpose in life is or even what day of the week it is. Some podcast recommendations etc. might help keep you on the straight and narrow. There were some updates yesterday, but not enough to justify a website edition of Ghost Bites, so I've covered everything below. Ghost Bites:Huge Group says that it has "too many investment opportunities when weighed up against the capital at its disposal" and notes that because the company is trading a t a discount to net asset value, issuing equity to pay for deals is very expensive. They are quite right about that. The Interfile Group investment deal has been cancelled so that Huge can focus its capital elsewhere, particularly on the mobile virtual network operator market (MVNO). In a complete swing, Huge is actually selling the interests in Interfile and Ionize and will free up R44 million in the process, which will help with the investment needed in the MVNO space.Stefanutti Stocks has confirmed that the total of all claims submitted for the Kusile Project is R1.14 billion. A binding decision by the DAB is expected in the second quarter of 2023, although it seems likely that an amount of this size will end up in further arbitration.De Beers announced a sales result of $410 million for the latest rough diamond sales cycle, a number that the company says was in line with expectations.A director of Nedbank has sold shares worth R2.1 million.Directors of Dipula Income Fund have acquired shares worth over R440k.A director of KAP Industrial Holdings has acquired shares worth R477k.An associate of a director of Salungano Group has acquired shares worth R232k.A director of a subsidiary of RFG Holdings has sold shares worth R120k .
