The former Beverly Hills home of late legendary guitarist Duane Eddy, whose signature “twang” sound influenced rock strummers from Jimi Hendrix to Bruce Springsteen, is up for grabs for $3 million. The secluded and extensively updated 1960s home has walls of glass that look out on the picturesque canyon setting and a classic, kidney-shaped swimming pool. And, for those who did not get enough alone time during COVID, a remote 417-acre island about 15 miles off the coast of Scotland is being sold for just over $3 million. Don’t let the far-flung location fool you. Across the island are a total of seven residences, as well as a lighthouse, so there’s plenty of room to host large gatherings of family and friends.
