Dear Friends of Ragan,

This might be the hundredth email you’ve received from an industry partner about the coronavirus and state of business, so we appreciate your taking the time to hear what’s happening at Ragan. We hope that you and your family are faring well during this pandemic. We all recognize the toll this crisis is having on our organizations, our staff, our resources and our ability to balance the short-term with the long-term.

As we’ve been covering the coronavirus crisis for the past few months, we recognize the incredible communications challenges you face every day. The Ragan team wants to tell these stories and share best practices. We have been serving this community for more than 50 years and can tell you that there’s never been a crisis quite like this one. Because communications is the heart and soul of every organization, we know that you are up to the challenge. And we will do all we can to help you through this.

As your partner in conferences, workshops and other live events, we have been hunkering down to develop a plan that will best serve your needs during this time. As such, our signature conferences that were scheduled between now and end of July are now being offered as virtual conferences and available to your entire team. This includes our Speechwriters & Public Affairs Conference (March 25–26), the Internal Communications & Culture Conference (April 21–22), the PR Daily Media Relations & Measurement Summit (May 14–15) and the Social Media Conference (June 18–19).

Ragan will continue to cover this crisis and other communications topics on our Ragan.com and PR Daily sites and via webinars and webcasts, and benchmark the hard work you’re doing via our awards recognition programs. Whether you are a member of our Communications Leadership Council or a daily reader of our Web content, we know you are hungrier than ever for insights and trusted information. In addition, our sister company Ragan Consulting Group is working virtually with customers and clients to help them meet their communications needs, both large and small.

Thank you for supporting us.

Please share both your stories and your challenges with the Ragan team, so together we can ride out this crisis and come out of it stronger than ever.

With much respect,

Diane Schwartz, CEO, Ragan Communications

and
Mark Ragan, Chairman, Ragan Communications
