Dear valued customer,
| As we head towards the end of 2022, we’re working harder than ever to honour our ‘Big on quality, Lidl on price’ promise. As households continue to navigate the increasing cost of living, we remain fiercely committed to offering the best value in the market every day, week and month of the year. What’s more, we believe that each and every one of our stores must have a positive impact on the community it operates in. This year, we wanted to find a meaningful way to help the communities we serve. We listened to the 1,500 local charities, food banks and community groups we partner with and heard clearly what they needed: food, toys and access to funds. We are pleased to share with you our latest plans to meet these needs - and know that many of you will want to help too.
| | We have launched toy banks in every store nationwide, where customers can drop off new, unopened toys and games to be gifted to local children in need of support. Your donation, whether a small stocking filler or something bigger, can help make a real difference to a child’s Christmas. | |

| We will also be making a £125,000 donation to charities within Neighbourly’s network to help them facilitate the collection and distribution of the toys and games. As part of our longstanding work within local communities,we have committed to donate 1 million meals between now and the end of the year, so that Neighbourly can continue their work supporting those in need. We are pleased to share with you our latest plans to meet these needs - and know that many of you will want to help too. We will also be donating £125,000 of our £500,000 ‘Lidl Community Fund’ to tackling hunger in local communities. The fund offers cash grants to our network of 1,500 charities. Thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to welcoming you at Lidl over the coming weeks. Best, |
