Hurricane(s) prediction: Words you never want to hear associated with hurricane season: “Most severe,” and “highest ever.” But that’s what the weather experts are telling us as we prepare for the mean season that officially starts June 1. Ugh!
Superdome spat: The Saints and the Superdome Commission were in a back and forth late Wednesday over claims that the team was behind in its payments for Dome renovations. The team issued a statement, which prompted a response from the commission.
Lunch loss: A pair of bills cutting unemployment benefits and removing mandatory lunch breaks for teen workers are on their way to Gov. Jeff Landry for his signature. James Finn has the details here.
