A spellbinding celebration of Beethoven from The Little Orchestra
Get closer to one of the world's greatest ever musical prodigies at a classical concert like no other. With themed food and drink, captivating storytelling, and a unique and intimate setting, The Little Orchestra does things differently. And this month it kicks off a year-long celebration of Beethoven. On Friday 24 and Saturday 25 January, The Little Orchestra transports audiences to 18th century Bonn, where Beethoven spent his early years. Discover how a traumatic childhood moulded a maestro and listen to live renditions of the music that inspired Beethoven at the orchestra's first ever chamber event. This is the first in a series of theatrically-designed events dedicated to Beethoven's life and work, on the 250th anniversary of his birth. Whether you're curious about classical music, or simply after an evening out like no other, these atmospheric yet informal events — think comfy seating and plenty of time to mingle — at the newly-revamped Battersea Arts Centre are not to be missed. |
