Remember the dead, fight for the living We hosted several Workers Memorial Day events last week to honor those we have lost or who have been injured on the job, including a workplace safety expo for employers and workers to help prevent future tragedies. Families of workers killed on the job joined us for a ceremony and wreath laying at department headquarters. We grieve with them and resolve to continue the fight for safer workplaces. |
Federal funding is helping to create good jobs Acting Secretary Su joined former Georgia House of Representatives minority leader Stacey Abrams, union leaders and community members in Atlanta last week. They discussed how federal funding is helping to create good jobs and support the nationâs clean energy transition. They also highlighted the administrationâs commitment to ensuring diverse workers from marginalized communities have equitable access to jobs. |
Grants available to support farmworker housing solutions Weâre making $6.5 million available in grants to help organizations improve their delivery of safe and sanitary housing solutions for migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their dependents. |
