Greetings fellow plant-touching cannabis operators/professionals,
I know not all of you will know me—so for a brief introduction, I’m a longtime cultivator originally in the traditional market in California, and I now operate a grow in Nevada, and own/operate a facility in LA.
I have been a speaker and member of the Cannabis Conference Advisory Board since 2018, and I wanted to take a minute to tell you why I support and attend the Cannabis Conference every year … why it’s important to me and why, I think, it should be to you.
I believe Cannabis Conference is the best conference to network with people focused on cultivation, extraction and operations within a facility. I’ve met several influential contacts at the show that have provided me with big opportunities.
And, the education is really fantastic. There are so many great presentations on cutting-edge concepts to help you reduce the cost of production – which is especially important now that the market is getting increasingly competitive.
Cost reduction is the name of the game, especially for West Coast growers.
As a plant-touching cannabis operator, you should know every part of the business, and when you go to Cannabis Conference and you look at the agenda, there are so many interesting presentations. Over the past years, I’ve seen a lot of them, on everything from genetics/breeding to CPG to raising capital, IPM and extraction, and just general business concepts that at are really important.
Plus, the conference has given me access to cutting-edge technology and companies presenting products that have helped me scale operations … and again, reduce costs. As an attendee, you will find companies that will help you and your business in a big way, especially in cultivation and extraction.
It’s also a major benefit that the show draws retailers for networking, but also with the evolution of cultivation and the more and more competitive it gets, the more you have to become a brand, so interfacing with retailers is really important. (There’s education specifically for retailers and processors, too.)
I can’t say enough about the impact Cannabis Conference has had on my business, and I’m looking forward to not only speaking but attending again this year. If you’re really serious about your business, about learning how to move your business forward in an increasingly competitive market, I really think Cannabis Conference is something you shouldn’t miss. I urge you to register today.
I’ll see you in Vegas, Aug. 23-25!
Sincerely,
David Holmes
