| Good morning, and welcome to the Saints Insider newsletter for Wednesday, April 5, 2023. It's NFL Draft time. The league's annual player lottery is three weeks away and the pre-draft process is heating up as Saints officials entertain prospects on visits to the team facility in Metairie. You never want to make too much of these pre-draft visits, but they generally indicate some level of interest from the team. A couple of University of Tennessee products are reportedly among the players scheduled to visit the Saints this week. Quarterback Hendon Hooker was at the facility on Tuesday, while his former teammate, wide receiver Jalin Hyatt, was expected to visit on Wednesday. Our Saints coverage team got together recently to discuss the Hooker visit and what it might mean for the Saints and their potential interest in the former Vols standout. That's it for today.
