From Chicken Soup for the Soul: What I Learned from the Cat

~Author Unknown "Please don't cry. We both know... I'm not what… you neeeeeeed," I sang into the shrubbery, employing the highest-pitched whisper I could manage. "And I... will always love you." Presently, a young couple walked by, eyeing me queerly. I jumped to my feet, emitted a little cough, and offered a weak smile. Then, blushing in a shade of crimson, I chuckled and attempted to mask my moment of absurdity with a brief explanation. "The things we won't do for our pets, huh?" Fortunately, my fluffy little tabby chose that moment to dash from the bushes and run back to our apartment, proving my sanity to the still doubtful couple. (Keep reading)
