This is about something more important than usual... Hi there. This is personal.I hope you'll forgive this brief break from financial commentary. I'm writing to you today not as the founder of Stock Gumshoe, but as a person who hates cancer. I lost my father to colon cancer 27 years ago, and one of the ways I fight back is by riding in the Pan Mass Challenge each year to raise money for cancer treatment and research... we can make things better for patients and families who get a cancer diagnosis, but I need your help. COVID has made it logistically tough to do the traditional two-day ride, so this time I will don my unflattering shorts and ride 100 miles on Sunday near Wellesley, MA... and I'm sure it will be inspiring and painful, as it is every year. I'm behind on my training, as usual, but seeing the faces of survivors riding beside us, and the children and families who are helped cheering us on, will help us get to that finish line with a smile. I've been overwhelmed with the generosity of Stock Gumshoe readers in the past, and I'd really appreciate it if you could contribute to the fight against cancer by sponsoring my ride with whatever gift you can afford. It's easy to sponsor me, just go to my PMC page here and you can give $10, $20, $100... whatever you can do will be a great help, and every dollar raised by riders like us goes directly to fight cancer. Thank you,
