As you know, I am a born optimist. I observe countless economic problems as I travel the world, but I also see amazing people working to solve them. I foresee a bright future for my children and grandchildren—and yours, too.

However…

I also agree with sci-fi author William Gibson when he said, “The future is already here— it’s just not evenly distributed.”

Some of our institutions are stuck in the past while the world moves on. That’s a problem—for everyone.

I want to help you get through the coming economic storms. That’s why I write Thoughts from the Frontline for you each week.

But my best platform to help people like you is the Strategic Investment Conference.

Each year at the SIC, I bring dozens of top financial, economic, and geopolitical experts together to help you map out your investment strategy. I ask them to share their best ideas, both on stage and informally with attendees. I purposely keep the event small to promote personal interaction.

Here’s where I need your help.

My team and I are currently planning next year’s SIC program. We’ve nailed down the dates and location: March 6–9, 2018 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in downtown San Diego, California. Now I need to set the agenda…

So here’s the question: What is your #1 financial challenge as you look ahead to the next 5-10-20 years?

We all have our own unique circumstances. Your challenges probably aren’t the same as mine, but I’ve found that we all share some common themes. I’m trying to identify those themes for 2018.
