| | A solution for embracing natural hair Richualist, a tech-enabled styling system company located in Baltimore, is dedicated to empowering women of color to embrace their natural hair texture. Earlier this year, I chose to perm my hair after years of maintaining a natural look. While it's a personal choice I don't regret (I love my new cut and style), I'm also excited about Dawn Myers, the founder of Richualist, and her innovative hair tools that I only discovered a few weeks ago. Richualist, one of whose tools is a nominee for Invention of the Year in the 2023 Technical.ly Awards, is also a shortlisted contender for the Brown Girl Swap Grant Funds. While voting for the $25,000 Brown Girl Swap grant concluded on Thanksgiving — I hope you enjoyed your holiday, by the way! — you still have until Nov. 30 to cast your ballot for Richualist or any of the other 24 Technical.ly Awards nominees. Meet them and vote for your favs here. – Technical.ly reporter Alanah Nichole Davis (alanah@technical.ly) Amazing Selection. Amazing Prices.
