A regional restaurant chain eyeing Lafayette

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

Beef O'Brady's, a family-oriented sports bar chain that's growing in mid-sized markets around the country, is interested in the Lafayette market.

That's from a conversation I had Thursday with CEO Chris Elliott, who couldn't help but share his personal story of how he spent about five years working in Lafayette back in the 1980s when he was with Pizza Hut. Now he is head of FSC Franchise Co., which is over the Beef O'Brady's brand along with others, including Brass Tap Beer Garden and Newk's Eatery.

His company wants to hit some of the mid-sized markets in Louisiana and is looking at Prairieville and Mandeville.

You can read my quick story here.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.
