Digital Trends’ Andy Boxall didn’t make it to CES this year, but that didn’t stop him enjoying all of the wonderful things on show at the world's biggest tech event. One device that grabbed his attention was the Nekojita FuFu from Japanese robotics company Yujai Engineering. Solving a problem you didn’t know you had, the diminutive device attaches to your cup and uses a fan to cool down a hot drink.

The upcoming OnePlus Open 2 (also known as the Oppo Find N5 in the Chinese market) might be the thinnest foldable phone ever made, according to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. That accolade currently belongs to the Honor Magic V3, which is only 9.2mm folded and 4.35mm unfolded.

The OnePlus Open 2 is also expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, IPX8 weatherproofing, and possibly a 6,000mAh battery. The new handset, which should launch in the first half of 2025, doesn't yet have a price, but considering that the OnePlus Open currently costs $1,300, it could come in at around $1,500 ...

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera earned $15.5 million on its debut weekend in North America, putting it just ahead of Mufasa ($13.2 million), which had been tipped to come out top.

“Den of Thieves 2: Pantera gave Lionsgate Movies its first number 1 since November 2023’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes,” Boxoffice Pro reported, adding that its weekend revenue was “nearly identical to the $15.2 million the 2018 original opened to in this same timeframe,” although it should be pointed out that the original opened in fewer theaters. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 placed third with $11 million in revenue, with "lush, lusty" Nosferatu coming fourth with $6.8 million in ticket sales ...
